Complex of Panataran

Most of the shrines belong to Måjåpahit times. (14th C.) Panataran is situated on the south western slope of Kelud volcano, about 12 km from Blitar. The temple is divided into three successive rectangular courtyards, an arrangement similar to that found in contemporary Balinese pura.
